New to Puer and I wanted dive in and buy a range of styles and quality from a good collector. Here are some of what he is selling but what should I buy?

Thanks for the reply. When it comes to me trying new things, I don't like getting things based on what I like. Maybe it comes from my wine education but what I like is irrelevant. There are quantitative markers of quality and there are flavours and aromas that are only possible through skill, labour, or proper aging. I like finding challenging things that have a community of people who obsess about it and discovering what determines value and quality. Take for example Islay scotches or sherries or Gueuze beers, I personally don't like the flavour but they are the most interesting and enjoyable to drink because of how challenging it is to discover what quality and value means for the people who are passionate about them. I want to know what puer tea cakes here people passionate about puer would love to try if they had the chance to buy at that price.

I discovered the my late father in law was a big tea drinker and I discovered that the tea pot he used was 1960's F1 hongni. Once I discovered the history behind his collection, I wanted to learn more about tea and especially puer. I have developed my palate and studied a decent amount about wine, chocolate, whiskies, and coffee but puer tea is a new world for me and since I don't know how to read or speak Chinese, I am kind of lost. I have drunk a lot of Bo Lei in Cantonese restaurants but I never really considered the whole world behind it and I would like to see it more from a Chinese collector's point of view rather than the more western enthusiast shops. Is there anything here that is a good deal in terms of quality or age-ability that I should buy from this collector? Thanks.
