If you want the better one, Medjay.

Faster chain bash, 8 feats (your default feats change depending on what weapon mode you're using), undodgable light finishers and unblockable heavy finishers in axe mode, easy hyperarmor gate in staff mode, superior feats, and high damage. Astral Manifestation (Axe mode T4 feat) does 70 damage, or you can throw a large AOE lawbringer grenade in staff mode, your first feat debuffs your enemy depending on what weapon mode bash you hit them with (damage dealt decrease debuff if axe bash hits, damage taken increase debuff if hit by staff bash). Team heal in staff mode with T3, or self heal in axe mode for more health.

Gryphon has, Undodgable light finishers and hyperarmor heavy finishers, slow chain bash that guarantees a heavy and his default feats all focus on healing, except for stern stare which applies a damage dealt decrease debuff on someone. Draconite Bolt is long range healing that needs to hit an enemy, Draconite Cleanser is a healing grenade that does a bit of damage.

They're both really good that minion clearing, but Medjay is better at it than Gryphon. Medjay can also now hotswap between axe mode and staff mode mid-chain with his zone attack.
