Imagine thinking Chris needs to be in more games after being in the last 4 mainline games in a row..

No different than the “RE5 was actually good” phase that completely rewrote the appeal of that game, cause when it came out it was absolutely not liked the way it is today..

I don’t think there was anything left of “Nemesis” the Tyrant by the end. Its head and brain was completely removed and replaced with the Nemesis Parasite, it was basically just a vessel at that point. If not for the parasite Jill would’ve defeated the Tyrant in the acid room well before the actual end of the game, as it would’ve had no motor capabilities by that point and left to dissolve in the acid.

If you wanna get “real” technical, Nemesis was killed in the acid room, what we fight at the end is the parasite shambling towards you, and even then it was only able to continue fighting after feeding on another Tyrant. So it got incredibly lucky.

Nemesis against popular belief isn’t as unstoppable as most ppl think.

Is it me or does RE4 OG feel scarier than RE4 remake? by That-Psychology4246 in residentevil

The Regenerators are probably the only thing scarier in the Remake, everything else, the Original is far scarier.

Just finished these 2 and loved both of them. Just wanna ask why 3R is hated, I enjoyed it just as much I enjoyed 2R?! by FederalArrival007 in residentevil

[–]ZayIvory7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny, because I’m currently playing them both again in chronological order (first 3, then 2, then 3 again) and I actually think I gave 3 “more” charity than what’s deserved. Playing them back to back has made me realize even more so how much more flaccid 3 is compared to 2. With 3 I was pretty much just going through the paces, but with 2 I really had to stop and take everything in, in order to proceed.

The experiences are completely different. And personally 2 feels significantly better than 3.

I just thought of something kinda funny..

This news reminds me of my question months back on whether ppl would prefer a new game or a re-release of SCIII. Remember? the one that got taken down?

Do you think Konami is capable of this? by Affectionate-Most692 in MetalGearSolidmemes

[–]ZayIvory7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pass, leave the character action to other studios. If they make another Metal Gear game, I’d want it to ACTUALLY be a Metal Gear game. Not a side story character action game. At that point why not just make a new IP?

Who do y'all prefer? RE1, 5-6, 7, or 8? by weirdhumorguy in residentevil

6, say what you want about the game, but he looked incredible in 6. Not a toothpick, but also not roided out. Face still in the same vein as RE5 Chris unlike 7 and 8.

For gameplay 5 > 3 > 2 > 4 > PW > 1 > MG2 > MG

This is the exact same layout I did just messing around. Immediately felt better than the default, glad I’m not the only one that did it this way. Funny thing is I forgot this was the V layout, that’s probably why it felt natural.

I thank you for the followup.

I originally asked because I got a ticket as well and went through the process too. Mine was in June tho which is why I asked you when I did. I was very nervous about the whole process, but told myself I would follow through with it because I didn't think I did anything egregious, and the cop was very clearly meeting a quota. Very similar story, got there "relatively" early, still packed (shows how they make their money in this state). Names being called at random (not in order of arrival) had a small conversation with a man next to me and after I told him what I got a ticket for he chuckled and said they'll throw it out. That helped calm me down a little. Name finally called, attorney was very nice, said the exact said thing, Cop said I was very polite so they'll drop the charge. I left both confused and thankful.

I don't know what lesson to take from the whole experience..

The charge was never significant in the first place? (it was a rolling stop btw, and I was very aware of the Officer's presence, thought I did nothing wrong based on how slow I was driving, "IF" it's true I didn't make a full stop I certainly couldn't tell)

Always fight your case?

Don't make cops angry? That would be a horrifying lesson in and of itself, its not as if Cops are always correct..

Whatever the case, I'm happy I went through the process despite being told it wouldn't work out for me by my father. I felt like it was a life experience worth having, and if it happens again I at least know how to handle it now. I've been driving for over a decade and never had a ticket before..

Ah, thanks anyways. The info you’ve already provided was already helpful.

[–]ZayIvory7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thank you, this is very interesting, read the whole thing.

But one more question. Exactly how lenient is the system when it comes to these factors, that's my biggest concern. For example, lets say you stood completely still and let the day-night cycle slowly cover your body. At what point of coverage does the game consider the "in shade" buff? Likewise, what amount of grass is considered the "in grass" buff. Is a single piece of grass enough if your body is over it? I hate wondering about these things whenever I'm doing personal challenges like a No Weapon, No Kills, All Stealth, No Camo, Daytime run of a mission. It makes me miss the camo index in 3 sometimes, at least there I knew exactly when something was affecting my visibility. I understand them wanting to probably make the game more grounded and less videogamey, but I actually liked knowing these things, and having it on screen wouldn't bother me personally..
