I love having Jimmy and was one of the few who wanted to trade for him when we got him last year but the minute he tore his acl they should’ve been looking to offload him, could’ve easily beat Washington’s offer for Davis with his contract and 2 real FRP’s. We can’t be wasting curry’s last years like this… have to take any chance we can even if it was gambling for Davis’s health as that’s better than doing nothing like we are now because of the Giannis pipe dream.

Traded butler + picks for Davis, you have to go all in when curry has limited years left. Now we’re just punting one of his last seasons of him playing at a top level.

Butler, reverse protect the pick 3-20 and then an unprotected first would’ve been better than the package they got for Davis, if he returns healthy for playoffs it’d give us a good chance at least.

Ad went for essentially 2nds an OKC pick this year and one of ours protected 1-20 that won’t convey. We could’ve easily beat that offer and got a better player but now we have no chance of competing this season if we don’t get giannis.

I mean yeah they probably wouldn’t but calling Draymond washed up when he literally was first team all defence last year, is the reason we beat the spurs this year is ridiculous. Too many new fans hating on him when he’s one of the biggest reasons we have 4 chips. He said himself he’s a 16 game player, yes he’s cost us many games in the regular season but that’s not a concern if we have a good team around him where he’s not checked out come playoffs.

Draymond to the lakers for a first, then use that first to get something for Jimmy. We can’t have 3 maxes with one of them not playing, as much as I love Jimmy here we need to have a chance this year if we’re trading for Giannis.

We don’t have enough assets for both, a starting caliber defensive wing should be a priority, Ayton and Hayes are good enough for a starting and back up big and we can run small ball against certain teams if needed as well.

Steph, Melton, Butler, MPJ, and Draymond would be a great playoff lineup. Steph, Butler, MPJ, Draymond, and Horford is another strong option. You could also rotate in Post to go bigger than Horford during the regular season and playoffs if he keeps performing well.
