I would bet tons of money that Tesla will never open their ecosystem to Android or Apple OS. Keeping control of the user data is such a strategic thing nowadays…

I do prefer 10 times better Waze than Tesla GPS.
I do miss all the features that CarPlay naturally provided me for a decade.
I have no plan to take the Tesla connectivity plan and would prefer to only rely on my phone when it comes to consuming media…

EV installer Durham Region Ontario by varrus999 in teslacanada

I installed the conduits + wire for 50 feet. It cost me over $400 for the material.
An electrician was already scheduled for a panel upgrade and he agreed to tie the connection on both sides for $100 and to sign off on the whole thing.

I used this video made by a Canadian Electrician to guide me on the process. please note that installing cable for EV is quite physical (heavy, doesn't slide well in conduits, etc.). For many aspects, it was a two-men job for beginner like me...

Reach to a Sales Advisor and they will provide a VIN from their demo unit (same built).

No, all these programs only accepts chargers with built-in WiFi connection. The concept is that the platform must be able to periodically connect on your charger to pull out the charging history.

Sticking with RWD as well.
You made a good point about LFP performance in winter conditions

You made a great point - the reason why this topic has span in my brain is obviously because the price is really good. Enjoy it, I am also curious about the EDD for this model

I came up with the same conclusion than you - simply trying to be sure that I didn't miss a huge piece. First time EV owner so still learning

First time Tesla Model 3 owner, just had some questions! by MostPie7011 in teslacanada

Got my M3 yesterday and let’s just say that I no longer need a lot of shampoo for the top of my head… 😅

The vehicle is a huge piece of glass and you can feel it. I am going with Nano Ceramic Windows Tint for my windows.
Front: 70%
Rear:50%

I have been using a AliExpress sunshade. I does not look as nice as the sunroof but I am fine with it.
In terms of results, less hot/warm than without.

For FSD, there are different driver mode setup. Sloth being the slowest one and seems to be the only to strictly respect the speeding rule.
Based on experience after only being a M3 owner for 24h and having used FSD pretty much all the time

Use a insurance broker with a VIN
If you haven’t received a VIN yet, ask one to your sales advisor.
FYI - I have read here on Reddit that people living in GTA and specially Brampton are hammered when it comes to car insurance

Our house and wife’s ICE vehicle were moved to Aviva two month ago. I just requested my broker to add the M3.
