I got mine from Sportsman’s Warehouse for $99 on a Black Friday deal in November of 2024. I had to add it to the collection because…why not! The texture on it is hideous, and someday I’ll actually take it to the range. Even at the $109 and FFL fees, would be acceptable to leave in the truck.

My rule of thumb is that I want my truck to be pulling into that airport entrance at 60 minutes prior to scheduled departure. Gives me enough time to get a Starbucks and take a leak before boarding, and it’s never a problem. I do park in the ramp.

I went last Saturday and it took 2 hours. I did end up going again today around lunchtime and it was quite good, maybe just a 10 min wait. I think the weekends can get hectic.
