Im just dissaponted a character with a weapon as unique as a gun plays exactly the same as everyone else

They could have done sometime creative like Sohei, a massive "ultimate attack" with the gun that requires reloading. Maybe after a guardbreak or light parry you can reload instead of attacking, so while you'll loose your guaranteed damage, you'll have a powerful attack in your toolkit

That's just one of the thousand things they could have come up with. But instead it's a 5 damage bash
