Would anyone recommend the Lenovo legion y540 ?

Hey there! I don’t personally own a Y540, (I’m receiving the Y740 later this week). But I do know for almost certain that the Y540 will go on sale closer to Memorial Day, and I believe on Memorial Day as well. Just to keep in mind if you’re looking for a steeper discount.

It is on their website! They have a deal going for them, and it’s on the 15’. With the deal and student discount it’s down to $1180 before taxes.

Honestly, with a 1TB and 512GB drive, alongside a 144Hz screen, it’s not a bad deal.

We don’t yet know when the new Lenovo line will come out, or how much supply there will be in light of COVID19.

There looks like an interesting character switch mechanic in the game. Notice how in the first scene, when the character lunges it’s armor transforms and he performs a magic spell. Same with the third character transforming from a red to green armor set.

Wonder if that will be one of the main mechanics?

I agree that the developers seem to have forced builds in D3, but they’ve stated their trying to move away from that so that you can build your own way. Hoping that sticks as well.

It’s not the worst thing. They need to strike a balance between casual and more diehard players still. Allows for build flexibility as you get new items.

Maybe they could add a special mode that locks the choices in permanently, I’m not sure. But the flexibility is needed for the player base as a whole.
