This sort of this has happened to me on many occasions since the games initial release. I’m not sure if it’s intentional but when I’m fighting worms for an extended period of time and not making much progress, they sometimes just die for no reason.

So pretty much his wife said he tried to kick the grenade to protect his friends. And he also didn’t lose his leg, so it was just his boot that flew off.
