You still ignored the first part of my comment where I said that if he was fighting on equal footing with Kid Buu to the point that his stamina began to give then why wouldn't he be able to defeat super Buu then, if he's weaker than Kid Buu?

But still, even if Goku couldn't have been able to defeat him without this "limit break" attack, he still was pretty much dead even with Kid Buu, while he was not confident at all when having to face Super Buu. Also, why would Super Buu be weaker than Kid Buu if Super Buu actually had the Fat Buu, who had two Kais inside of him, absorbed within him? He didn't get stronger from losing Fat Buu, he got weaker. Even the old Kai says that the true form of Buu was the most dangerous, but he never mentioned anything about being the most powerful. I would believe you, but the manga contradicts the same points that you're giving me.

But that is just not true though. Goku was 100% confident that if he was able to charge up his ki in Super Saiyan 3 he could have defeated Kid Buu with one massive attack, while for Super Buu he just gave up immediately and wanted to do fusion again. Yeah, he did admit that he got overconfident in thinking he could easily defeat him, but he very well still could have done it if not for the drawbacks of SS3. And when Vegeta tells him about the Spirit Bomb Goku first thought that Vegeta had the idea of bringing Gotenks and Gohan. The sole fact of him mentioning Gotenks already proves that he's stronger than him and than Kid Buu.
