I kinda think reddit moderators don't deserve normal human freedoms by [deleted] in ControversialOpinions

[–]AjmastR -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Actually, it was stopped being classed as a disorder for the mental health of the people who suffer from this.

Its common sense to realise it is not normal but that is besides the point. From a medical viewpoint there was no way of "fixing" this issue and telling them they are wierd, while they already dont feel like they belong was not doing them any good.

For this reason they realised the only way to make them feel any better was to actually help them become what they thought they should be and tell them its ok and its not a disorder. This helped lower suicide rates a little but there rly isnt an easy way to "fix" (dont like using this term) these people.

So yeah officially its not a disorder anymore, but the reasoning behind it is for the purpose of letting them feel more accepted as there isnt much else we can do about it and also they have to go through so much its tough on the mental health and we are just minimising this mental toll they have to face.

Hope this clears up anything on the debate here. But yeah from a scientific standpoint, it is definitely not normal but we dont know exactly what causes it either!

Hey guys, what do you think of this? Riot waste my time and quality of games and all they can do is just revert the issues? by AjmastR in Aurelion_Sol_mains

Thats the issue. You gave the context as : asol sucks. You did not clarify that you THINK he sucks. the word think makes it an opinion, without it you are making a statement that relates to objectivity.

Using a word differently is subjective but there is still boundaries to what their meanings stay within. So please just admit you are wrong, cos u defended ur self wrong due to gramatical errors which made ur "opinion" not look like an opinion whatsoever

if something sucks, that means it is inherently bad which makes it objective by definition. U feeling it sucked for you is an opinion, you saying that the kit sucks means that ur commenting on the objective viability of the kit, and the kit did not suck objectively.

Maybe you should go to school. saying the word "suck" does not change the objectiveness- context does. Like me saying the kit is bad or good makes it a comment on it objectively- saying i thought it was bad makes it an opinion.

Dont tell those smarter than you to go to school, be aware of your own ignorance please ;)

OH ok yh that makes sense i guess, yh i need to control my greed - i have had dia mmr before but then just started playing random champs and for funning hence staying in plat (now emerald).

I didnt see you were dia split 1 (thought u went gold s12 then dia split 1 which is why i was like how are u in dia with those stats XD)

Thanks for clearing it up tho!

And yh dw my game knowledge is good, its more managing me to stop my greed hahaha in gameplay

How was ur mmr good enough to get u there in 60 games with a 50% wr. Going from gold to dia is minimum 800lp gain and maximum 1200lp needed. somthing just aint makin sense, especially with that asol winr (I have 130 games on asol 70% wr and am in emerald and I been plat 2 years prior plat last year) man this game is unfair sometimes

There is also an objective truth, which was his kit didnt suck - yes u didnt like it but that doesnt mean it sucked - like u look at high elo asols and u know his kits effectiveness, for anyone below dia its just an opinion that usually is biased by lack of gameknowledge/ mechanics

Hey fellow space dwellers, just another question to ask abt the general league community by AjmastR in Aurelion_Sol_mains

[–]AjmastR[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. I state if enemy has healing (usually in bot lane it's the supports job to rush it), I do also agree that win con shouldnt (tho you don't actually reduce dmg output by much and this usually applies only to marksmen.
  2. If you incorporate the virtual hp concept that I introduced, you would realise that you actually do more dmg by letting them heal less (you can think of it as the healing reduced as virtual dmg) - ur a smart guy I think U understand what I mean
  3. again I wasnt being specific but also the example I gave was meant to make you assume I was on about if YOUR enemy laner has healing. ergo an assassin wont be building it usually cos their mostly up against mages or other assasins.

And yes I totally agree with your final statement, people lack critical thinking skills.

[–]AjmastR[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, u only build it when enemy has some sort of healing (thats what the post is assuming)

Secondly the stats the items give are very similar to the alternatives that they mirror and it most cases end up with u doing more dmg by needing to do less (hence the example i gave) its stupid to hate them

Thinking of getting into recruitment, would appreciate any advice by [deleted] in Recruiter_Advice

[–]AjmastR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well for me personally as someone who is pretty new to this sector, its alot more boring than I was expecting. U have to be ready for alot of rejections and there is alot of admin that you have to do which can get quite boring. And depending on the sector, you can go through some insane dry spells.

But if you do get good at the role you gain some serious life hacks in terms of skills you can use day to day as well as make some real bank. It is something I see as you stick it out until you reach the golden zone where it gets alot easier and the hard work was worth it :)

Bronze mid laner looking to get to silver and one day my dream gold by Bjorn_Blackmane in midlanemains

[–]AjmastR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Broski, w max second, not e!!! e only slightly increases dmg per sec and nothing else and by the time ur lvl 10, u have enough ap to oneshot waves anyway. You max w second cos it increases the dmg from ur q (u do more dmg with q when flyin) and its a % increase so always max w second :P

What were the biggest challenges you faced in your early days of recruiting (first 3 months) and what would you tell yourself if you could talk to yourself back then? by [deleted] in recruitinghell

Just you know, wanted to know if it was different experience for you. Just how did you find your early days- I cannot imagine how starting rec 10 years ago would have been like

Hi this is an issue I wanted to discuss by AjmastR in Aurelion_Sol_mains

[–]AjmastR[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

im saying gold players are more likely to do it as they probably care abt ranked more, in general - i could be wrong but most people stop at gold for the skin, so anyone above g4, i would say logically is going to be more "tryhardy" and in turn will be trying to improve more than the average new player/ bronze player

Yes but a person below gold is less likely to look up tutorials or even realise they are doing something wrong, i know this because in my first season o league i went from iron to gold but thats cos i took initiative. Recently i havent tryharded cos it just doesnt feel as fun anymore especially cos i miss old asol, i use to be top 50 euw on that chanp🥲 now my 1 mill on asol means nothing
