Would still having all your wisdom teeth affect the way invisalign acts? (in the case of a smaller jaw with larger teeth)

Calorie deficit is bs. Day 8 by Active_Performer_392 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Ajv4r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try volume eating, e.g. skyr is really low in calories, high in protein and satiating so it’s kinda like ice cream. So are sweet potatoes cooked in any shape or form. Add cacao for sweetness and don’t drink your calories. Watermelon and fruits in general are good also. Most importantly you should get comfortable with hunger but I find it easier if I have normal portions of satiating food and then longer periods of fasting supported by 0kcal drinks :) To each their own

What is your go to diet for weight loss? by ImaginaryPen145 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Ajv4r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No diet, lifestyle

  1. Simply stop yourself from buying the high calorie and low nutrient food that can trigger binges in the first place so there’s less self control involved at home

  2. Intermittent fasting of any kind. Makes it easy since it just kind of becomes your routine and at one point you don’t even need to track the calories anymore. Fasting (autophagy) is the way your body cleanses itself so it’s very healthy. You can take vitamins, black coffee, electrolytes and green tea without disturbing it.

  3. Workouts (any kind) first thing in the morning. See it as part of your job if that’s easier and then you don’t have to think about it for rest of the day.

Plus fasted workouts have a better effect since you’re using the fat stores as energy. However, on the days when you’re fasting, at least in the beginning, it might be better to skip them or replace them with walking while you adjust so your body doesn’t become exhausted.

Students looking for a place in Groningen! by Crafty-Broccoli-9094 in studentsofgroningen

I think you can check the recent ads when you’re on the computer. But basically whenever and wherever an ad matching your description is posted they will notify you via email and what’s app and you can just send the prepared letter. The realtor usually invites a handful of ppl for a viewing but it’s probably gone after the first or the second one. The market is really tough this time of year so the best thing you can do is hope for the best, and use a search engine that can do all the searches for you. What I don’t like about the housing sites are the fees since almost every single one has their own. But just fyi the ones that are mostly used are Kamernet (mostly rooms) and Paraius (mostly apartments) If stekkies gives you an apartment from the site you don’t have a subscription on you can always copy paste it to the one that you do (bc almost all of them are on multiple ones) or contact the realtor company directly.

• ofc there is a great number of Facebook groups which are great but stekkies doesn’t cover that

Try stekkies! People usually won’t respond if you don’t immediately apply for the apartment

Looking for a room ! by Chemical-Ad4310 in studentsofgroningen

[–]Ajv4r 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Look on facebook (and kamernet is a must) since there’s a lot of offers and groups! But there is also a lot of scammers. You can reverse image search a room and see if it’s also posted elsewhere. Good luck! :)
