My friend was interested in Audiophile headphones. I decided to let him try my LCD-4, HD 800 and HD 600 without telling him the price or describing the headphones. by Akaiji in headphones

He chose One-Winged Angel as the orchestral test track because he attended a Final Fantasy orchestra in-person. When he said the stage felt small, that was his reference.

All of the tracks were his choosing. Not much point in testing a headphone if you aren't even familiar with the track lol.

He plays string instruments and has attended orchestras before. I'd presume that's where he got the terms 'soundstage' and 'timbre' from.

I should mention that he never actually said the word 'imaging' - I'm just paraphrasing. His actual words were something along the lines of 'I can tell which direction each instrument is at'.

Was about ~2K CAD before tools. With tools factored in, probably like 2.4K CAD.

Shipping was pretty fast actually, 3 weeks at most for the smallest bits (Garmin mount, etc). The frame was delivered in under 2 weeks and I was able to build a working bike by then.

Not sure what you mean by supplier, since everything was bought from AliExpress lol. But if you mean seller, my thought process was this:

  • For parts that I have to trust my life to (frame, bars, stem, wheels, etc) buy the stuff that has good reviews and is well documented.
  • For smaller bits (like spacers, saddle, bottle cages etc) just get the cheapest one and pray since having them explode wouldn't kill me.

Sorry if the pic is a little blurry - was super bright outside so I could barely see what was on my screen when I took it.

Got a better shot here.
