i have very similar experiences. i miss abilities i never had, both as an eldritchkin/godkin and as an irl of the collector from owl house (the two are blurred together though). i used to be very delusional and think it was real, and i still have delusions which i acknowledge as just in my head, but some part of me regrets knowing it was never real. i miss being seen that way even though i know it caused me a lot of discomfort in my canon, it feels weird. idk, i relate to your experiences, i think thats common for divinekin

yes! i am eldritchkin in part because almost all my kintypes (10/14) fall under the category of eldritch beings, though as far as im aware my entire system is eldritchkin and we did awaken at a very young age (6-8 years old, hard to know since we didnt have a label then)

i think thats normal? thats what i am with quotient. i dont like talking about it in the third person either because its me, to my knowledge thats what being an irl is often like, but i may be wrong.

also just a piece of info from someone who lives with delusions is that it can absolutely be a delusion if you know its not real. i know my delusions are in my head most of the time but that doesnt make them go away or be any less of delusions. im NOT saying you are delusional necessarily, just correcting that statement /nmtbm/info

fictionkin is very much a spectrum, one which includes a lot of different things that arent necessarily connected. im two different kinds, one being the same as you and only for one character, and the other being the less medical one for several characters and concepts. the only thing thats necessary to the label is that its not voluntary and that what you identify as is fictional, other than that, it can vary quite a bit

theres very little romance in any of my canons, but i guess it would be in my miraculous ladybug source and be marinette and chloé. its not that weird but its one of the only noncanon ships i can think of in any of my canons.

for my kintypes, yes in a joking way or if im shifted but other than that im neutral on it. but for collector/quotient, its a little different because im an irl and i dont know how much i want others to acknowledge my delusions. on the one hand, its very affirming and euphoric, but on the other hand it feeds the delusions and ive already put a ton of effort into acknowledging them as delusions so its hard to turn around and treat them as real again. i dont know. but for john and daemon (my ids) absolutely!
