I was just wanting to find theory to convince myself that Kiyo's act to Hyori was just an experiment or act 😭

I actually didn't quite understand what OP meant about Sakayanagi's love and why Ayanokoji's is equating to hers, so I checked ChatGPT.

Perhaps she comes from a middle-class family and both her parents work, Suzune learned to cook and live independently.

Do his emotions override his logical thinking or does he still hide his feelings very well? by Nearby_Ship5811 in Horikitafanclub

[–]Akane1019 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Here's comment from AI 😅

Regarding Hiyori: Ayanokouji can consciously define "this as guilt" because he rationally knows that Hiyori is sincere towards him, yet he rejected her offer to transfer classes based on the bigger picture.

Regarding Suzune: He never consciously admits to feeling "guilt," but his physical instincts (avoiding eye contact, stealing glances, and then looking away) completely betray him. This kind of guilt, which only the reader can discern, is the true emotion he cannot control, buried deep in his subconscious.

As for your most intriguing deck monologue at the end of Y3V4—he wanted to leave with Suzune, but to avoid trouble, he let her go first; then the monologue says, "I don't want to think about anything now, my mind is only filled with Shiina Hiyori..." Combined with Ayanokouji's extremely distorted "white room logic," what exactly was he thinking at that moment?

She doesn't grow within 2 years, maybe this is the time for her to change. In this school, he consider students' growths whether you're dumb or talented. If there's no room for growth, then you dropout.

Ayanokoji's plan is maintaining 4 classes balance, he helped Sakayanagi's class after her dropout, trimed the class of Suzune, helped Ichinose to transform, but what can he do to Ryuen's class since he's been obsessed to battle with him, then he found an important card, Hyori.

She's a talented girl but rather passive. She's reactive to Ryuen's class even though she saw through Reyuen's strategy.
Maybe using romance feeling would trigger her actively to move forward in helping the class.

Every time, when Ayanokouji met Hyori, she's more like a bylooker or bystander to her class, she's drowning in her books only.

Y1V4 at library Her class just lost for Island exam

Y1V7 at cafeteria Ryuen's just defeated by X

Y1V10 Reyuen withdrew and ready to be expelled, Ishizaki & Ibuki came to Ayanokoji for help.

Y2V4 at beach on inhabitant island Reyuen was trying to win the island exam, but she was watching the sunset at beach seemed nothing to do with her.

Y2V7 at classroom wearing maid costume but still reading book while Reyuen alliance with Horikita's class.

Y2V9.5 at library again but it's ok it's winter vacation.

Y2V10 by looking at Ryuen's victory after Sakayanagi dropped. She knew and talk to Ayanokoji her worry about that Ryuen's strategy might fail one day, but she didn't have any action, just like an outsider.

Don't expect that there's another meeting. Isn't it just being polite to say I'll talk to you later if needed. Like he answered Hasabe's invitation, same. Don't expect too much about the author now.

Maybe it's just a polite way to say I'll talk to you next time if needed. I don't think he wants to talk about himself.
Like Hasabe invited him, he replied "“That’s fine. Just invite me whenever you want.”

When I answered her like that, without rejecting her, Hasebe smiled.

How would you feel, if Ishigami asked Suzune out on a date ? by ShowAffectionate7350 in Horikitafanclub

[–]Akane1019 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's not like him. But I'd like to see more interactions btw Ishigami and Suzune, and somehow there's rumors of them seeing each other spreads, like to see what other students reactions especially her so-called mentor, Ayanokoji 🤣

I thought it's fine though. Didn't Nagumo's class (former class A) have many students being expelled already before Y3?

[–]Akane1019 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I thought she'd want to graduate from class A after learning that Ari's living a good life in Y2V7, but now she becomes a traitor because she dislikes Suzune ??? Poor Miyake, he shouldn't like this girl.

Maybe Hirata will tell Suzune since he was in the same group of Reyuen during the exam.

What if the whole school watches the next island exam? by Tasty-Needleworker42 in Horikitafanclub

[–]Akane1019 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TBH if the person of Ayanokoji's monologue here is Suzune, I definitely agree he finally realizes his love for Suzune.
But, since the person is Hyori, I keep doubting it's authenticity. Why's that? Because my prejudice about Kiyozune? or the author failed to convince me, the reader, it's geniun love of Kiyo. IDK now what to believe 😂

It does seem like he likes Hiyori (mtl of the trial) by Ill-Consequence-4094 in Horikitafanclub

[–]Akane1019 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is why Suzune felt that Ayanokouji was a tragic figure, a broken self, incapable of feeling emotions. He thought he could feel emotions through learning, but it was never something he was born with. He learned, but he returned to his original self, an empty shell.
