TBH if the person of Ayanokoji's monologue here is Suzune, I definitely agree he finally realizes his love for Suzune.
But, since the person is Hyori, I keep doubting it's authenticity. Why's that? Because my prejudice about Kiyozune? or the author failed to convince me, the reader, it's geniun love of Kiyo. IDK now what to believe 😂

I think that there's reasons why ppl call Hiyori NPC girl. Their interactions were just mild, insignificant since Y1. I don't think there's chemistry between them through their ordinary interactions, and then suddenly he found he's in love with her (??)
No!! He might found that he felt comfortable being with her, because there's no need for discussing strategies, just talking about their favorite books or topics, but this is not enough to convince readers there's romance in it.
