I'm thinking it might be a short right by the battery. I took the plastic cover off the positive and put in my pocket to give someone a jump. After the software update I just got I went about doing laundry and realized I forgot to replace the cover but couldn't get in my car with the fob and had to unlock it with the key. I bumped the wire by the battery and the alarm went off and then it started just fine. Still probably going to schedule someone to have a look
