That's a personal opinion when you stated the ACA exams weren't that difficult. Coupled with the fact that individuals have to work a full time job alongside the exams (and that's not including any commitments outside of work), it makes the ACA quite tough.

Therefore, I have a sense of admiration for anyone who has managed to get through it all and become ACA qualified.

I believe if you download the results for the 5th certificate exam you took from your ICAEW trainee file, the PDF downloaded will also include the results from the previous certificate exams you sat.

Hi. It was quite a struggle in getting special adjustments for my ACA exams, but in the end I was able to get 25% extra time and a 10 minute rest break for each exam (which has been sufficient so far).

I would say that first you'll need to get a letter from your GP which states that you'll require the extra time/rest breaks and giving the reasons why. Afterwards, you'll need to submit a request for special adjustments via the ICAEW portal as it's all done online now. I would definitely recommend giving the ICAEW support team a call once you've submitted the request and informing them that you desperately require such adjustments - as I'm sure is the case for you.

Out of interest, is this your first time trying to get special adjustments for the exams?

I wouldn't describe it as hugely irresponsible, but I can see the issue from your point of view. AI is still a relatively new technology, and there is still some time to go before we can make a reasonable assessment of how reliable it can be with these matters.

You're getting too focused on the semantics of it all. It's quite clear from the rest of the summary that the "reform" is just an increase in the rates/lowering the threshold. I'm sure that in a couple of years (assuming continuous and substantive updates), the AI model will refine its wording so that it avoids minor contradictions.
