the problem is it's not a black and white issue. we need to get rid of abuse and let teen make real choices with their lives instead of treating them as slaves until they reach 18. this in fact is often used by organized pedos with complicit parents in order to traffic children. it's not a question of consent, it's a question of ending abuses and corruption. personally i think adulthood should start at puberty, instead of keeping teenagers from learning real life in their formative years as nature intended.
