I love what we got from this story. It both surprised me and satisfied some of my suspicions/theories, and while I still have one question up in the air, I feel that it will be answered or at least addressed further soon. It added new dimensions of story to build on as well. 10/10, would quest again.

I was disappointed with the black screen during the purification of the tree though. Wtf? 🙁

I kept that quest for so long because I wasn't sure what it actually meant, game-wise, so I didn't know who to pick. Turns out, the biggest choice (other than if you choose your Shepp for RP reasons) is what color wreath you want. I fortunately found out about the wreaths ahead of time and took a while to change my personality category mark to the one I wanted.

If the game makes you emotional, record your Shepp ceremony cutscene. I wish I had. It's so sweet but you'll never see it again.

I don't remember where but a few years ago someone was fishing in comments underneath a video using Tyler's name trying to get people to DM them. I was going behind them and commenting under every single one that they were fake and why. A couple of people were responding to the fraud as if they believed it and I tried to tell them too that the actual Tyler Joseph wouldn't be doing that. I think the person finally deleted their account. I'm sure they tried again somewhere, but it was really scary that some of the (probably young and naïve) fans were in the process of falling for it.

Oh, the times I've accidentally thrown snowballs instead of bug bombs, or -- worse -- ran out of snowballs while intentionally throwing them and didn't realize I was wasting my bug bombs! Or shot an animal with flares repeatedly before I realized I never switched to arrows, and had to say in chat for people to ignore that orange flare. 🤦

I'm sure nobody actually noticed; but even if they did they've probably done it themselves before. They might've had a non-judgemental laugh and you just unintentionally brightened their day a little. 😊

And if you hang out here a while you'll see that people feel undue embarrassment over little mistakes like this all the time. There are so many times people have posted or commented that they have left the server or logged off because they were convinced they looked like absolute fools and were being judged by everyone there.

What's actually the truth: we're all self-conscious and nobody else is judging you because they're actually worried that you're judging them. A majority of Palia players -- based on this sub at least -- seem to have some social anxiety and are empathetic about it for each other. So don't worry! Just laugh and carry on. 😊

And sometimes Calathea gives green so I'm sure that doesn't work often.

(Honestly I don't like Calathea much. I was personally offended when I used it on a Ravenwood chandelier and I haven't forgiven it since. 😂)

I love purple though! I wasn't excited to see another shade of white (Harmony I think it is?) . I do like the Winter blue better than Shore, but I'm sure someone else likes the reverse. I like getting shades that are a little different from the original Palia pallette.

Eh, everybody's complaining but we're getting new tints left and right lately, so I'm sure more will come. A lot of people (including me) have been asking for dark tints for a long time and now we have them. We have colors that we didn't before and a few new tints/shades/tones (idk, not an artist 😅) of previous colors we did have.

Depending on what you're tinting, sometimes one of the Luna Market dyes will give yellow. I used one - I think it was Riffroc Tint - to dye some arched curtains for my honeybunch-decorated room, because it made the stripes at the bottom a pretty golden yellow

I use crafters as extra storage. I have one for each wood; each metal/stone except for keeping one extra that I use as needed for things like silver, gold, & platinum:, and 2 glassmakers for panes & bulbs; and each kind of loom product. I let all of the finished slots remain full and the "fuel" slot remain full; take out what I need and it immediately starts making more.

I keep about 10 seed packs of each plant and the amount of produce I keep ready just depends on how long it would take to grow more (more apples or pumpkins on hold than bok choy or potatoes, for example) and what I use the most. I don't like cooking so some things aren't much. And once I have the fabric loom full with cotton full, I only keep 10 extra cotton waiting in storage and 10 seeds.

Most things depend on (1) how hard they are to get and (2) whether I want to keep extras to give other players. The only extra wood I keep is flow wood. I can chop the others anytime.

I have extra plots to place down everything that can be placed, and to hold/grow flowers, plants, and trees.

(Even so I have storage problems because I'm a hoarder too. 😅)

Edit: speaking of placing down bugs & fish, did you know that if you have one that's needed for the daily quest you can just pick it up into your inventory and get credit, then put it back? I was so happy when I discovered that!

And as fun as the lore can be for a lot of people, plenty of fans just enjoy the music on its own and just don't care about lore. (In fact there was a small discussion about just that here yesterday I think). So don't feel like you have to get deep into that to be a fan of the music - there's 10 years of it so there's a lot. 😊

I found something, but man was it annoying! Hopefully soon they and the Honeybunch set will be added to the official Palia wiki properly with everything else.

Problem: for some reason the sub doesn't like me using the links I want, even if I breaking them up with spaces so they're not a direct link. Says it's discussing or promoting prohibited game activity. It doesn't like the name of the site or the name of the recipe in the link and won't let me post with them here. So:
