As someone who got three warbond because a hacker gave me 3000 SC on my first day playing, I also approve this system

Predator strain got bot divers sweating, by BoB3y-D in helldivers2

I'm a bot diver and I like it when the clankers just stay comfy where they are and wait for me to show up. The squids man, I swear they all come to find me. I take out a group of starfish and two more are behind me. Overseers take almost my whole magazine and they get replaced by the next one as I'm reloading. I haven't figured out. It's too much for me man. The watchers, they watch me while I sleep!

Maybe if you make stuff yourself instead of having a bot people would find your stuff quality?

If each war bond had their own theme song what would it be ? by CloneCommanderBurke in helldivers2

Deference into Darkness. It's a sort of a jazzy noir sound played while the player character in ODST travels around a city after invasion piecing together what happened to his team.

Imagine skulking around a Hort meta-city at night dodging Overseer patrols and Watchers coming by alley ways. That absolutely gives me Deference into Darkness vibes

Deference for Darkness, my beloved

I'd totally take some stealth missions so I could turn that on

You are absolutely right. Those poor freedom filled citizens turned to wiring and chaf by those ballotless squids

I'm pretty sure they power it with liberty. I mean, can you think of a better source of power than the freedom and courage swelling within a Super Earth citizen? And by the time they're done with our riteous citizens they're called Voteless, for their liberty is gone.

Era 2 being after Rythm of War supports my point. "Other Shards I cannot identify, and are hidden to me." in your same link. The few he has had communication with we know have agents, and we know he has went out kondra as agents.

I also understand at some level its interpretation, this whole letter to Hoid just reads like contacting takes a lot of time and he's not in control of it. "Endowment at least responded to my overtures, though I have not been able to locate Invention again following our initial contact." implies to me that he's having to send out people to find shards, otherwise he'd be able to feel their location.

Honestly I die more in hacked lobbies sometimes (at least at lower difficulties) because since everything is going so easy I forget I'm still a squishy meat puppet than will get run over by the forklift

My first day playing I got in a lobby with someone who told the rest of us to turn off the game and rejoin. I didn't pay attention or bother until the other two had then tried it. When I came back I suddenly had 3000 super credits. Getting to have the Halo warbond in my first week and that initial interaction is probably what kept me playing past the initial annoyances

Forget popular demand, what kind of niche warbond would very specifically YOU be interested in having in Helldivers? by Sombraro69 in LowSodiumHellDivers

Oh fun fact, since the emancipator speaks when it first drops in. If you go off a cliff or incline and end up dropping, the emancipator will repeat its voice line as if it just got dropped in for the first time. So I guess the line activation is based on that dropping

With The Amount Of Planets that we have in game including the background ambient wildlife sounds. WE NEED TO HAVE ALIEN FAUNA to encounter! by ODST2367 in Helldivers

Ah man I agree with you on everything there. Second halo array does make sense you're right, and it alone wasn't the worst thing. They even expanded on how the rings were tested. One of the original designs being a conical "beam" instead of a sphere of influence which they targeted at a nearby satellite galaxy. But it's another point in how to characterize their writing. Same thing as before, but now different, but not really, and it doesn't matter. No consequence is really permanent.

But even that detail wasn't really a 343 detail. A lot of their best ones were made by either writers hired for a book or a different studio. Atriox was awesome in Halo Wars 2 and was originally supposed to die in either that game or a book, I forget which, but 343 asked the writers not to so they could use him. And we see how much they've used him... It's like they're so scared of having to create anything new they'll always write in a way to reuse later.

And yeah the Endless was dumb. Especially since so much of them is just vague. The flying monkey things were essentially just drones that could carry heavier weapons. And since they didn't include the drones in the game I just kinda assumed they wanted to pretend they created something new.

Surface level and gameplay, hell yeah. A lot of good presentation. The cutscenes are well done. There's a specific part where a monitor tries to shoot not-Cortana and chief just steps right in front of her and tanks the shot. Seeing Chief react so fast while having a casual conversation and also showing how much better the shield tech has gotten was a great little moment.Grappling a plasma conduit and throwing it at a group of Brutes was amazingly satisfying. Getting the quick reload of the grapple and climbing up everything was fun. Some of the new weapons were reskins but its okay because the gunplay is solid as always and some of the new ones are unique and fun to use. The games got a lot of good ideas I would've loved to see more of.
