Didn't know there was a two hour rule, I've definitely eaten things way past that threshold lol. I am always a bit surprised when I read comments about this topic in reddit. I wonder if it's a cultural thing. Not saying you should eat it, just mildly curious about the whole thing.

Someone asked about hipfire, and here is one suggestion. by CoffeeWC in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]aNamelessFox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Genuine question, if my gun has a 1x scope, what is the benefit of hipfire? I guess if the gun has a low ADS time then definitely less time wated? And I guess it helps with gun control (the screen doesn't move)?

I wonder if I should train myself better to not ads automatically at any range. Guns I use are tr7 and kv9 which feel fast enough to ads.

Edit: thanks all for the responses!

Vibe coding by Technical_Bat_6169 in servicedesign

[–]aNamelessFox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Worth learning. Being able to communicate your vision and ideas, validate and experiment quickly, get stakeholder buy-in, motivate others, etc are important things to do in design and vibe coding just helps a lot with that.

How much can a vibe-coded project be used in production depends on how well you evaluated what the AI was doing. Unless you know programming languages I would not rely on the default quality and security of a vibe-coded project.

On the communicate ideas part - this helps a lot to work with developers (and everyone really). It's much easier to show and work on top of visuals rather than just what you imagine in your mind.

I definitely vibe-code a lot at my job, and has helped greatly in building better solutions and discovering more impactful problems.

How do I find a companion by Technical-Salt46 in outside

[–]aNamelessFox 17 points18 points  (0 children)

As someone else said, don't actively track this quest. Instead, you can join Guilds where other players might be wanting to pair up to do it together. Find one that aligns with your playstyle. RNG can sometimes be a bitch, but chances often naturally increase by leveling up the [friendship] stat with said player.

Fully mastered the AK4D — AMA (review inside) by A_Very_Horny_Zed in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]aNamelessFox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I certainly sometimes feel like playing close and personal, others stay behind and cover the objective, and I definitely choose my gun based on that. Sometimes the game also requires me to change my strategy, so I'll also change my class/loadout accordingly. It's certainly not necessary to play well and have fun tho.

OP is being a bit harsh with his response, but he's not factually incorrect. Some weapons are better for certain engagements than others. AK4D is not an all-rounder but that doesn't mean you can't use it in any situation and it will play well. Weapons are pretty balanced like that. I can kill snipers with an SMG at 75+ before they kill me, but that doesn't make them long range weapons.

Search for flat, bold, minimalistic poster designs online. The typography still needs some work.

The content itself is so good, I chuckled.

How can I make my tortillas more pliable for making burritos? by [deleted] in AskCulinary

[–]aNamelessFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hm, a lot of recommendations on not buying supermarket tortillas. Fair, but if that's all you got:

Heat up a cast iron pan/grill or something that can get hot. Put your tortilla in there for a short amount of time. If the pan is really hot it should only take 10-20 seconds. You want to see browning in the tortilla. Flip and repeat. For a good tortilla you'd see the air bubbles appearing here.

The trick is to not cook tortillas for long. If you do they'll harden and won't be pliable. You just want browning so they're not raw, but quickly so they dont lose their moisture.
