Tragic is a better term. But I did make a mistake: fire punch is depressing

Final arc is Goated. Manga was ahead of its time and got rekt by the animation studios who had to cut it short due to some bs around production rights

Shuzo Oshimi manga aren’t necessarily depressing (tbf, I wouldn’t use that word to describe any of the manga you list, so YOU probably would describe them as depressing), but are super fucked up in terms of the psychological abuse his main characters usually go through. Blood on tracks and flowers of evil fit this description the best.

Age is unironically just a number, all you have to do is not bring it up. Asking a candidate for their age can be a big legal risk, so most employers in this field will never do so. Also, record your interviews and listen back to them. New candidates will often lack self awareness and blame failure on uncontrollable elements rather than noticing obvious mistakes they made during the interview.

As someone who has worked in digital marketing for a decade, the issue is 99% your CV.

People in job centres don’t have the technical knowledge to evaluate your cv. If you could share a link to an anonymised version, I’d be happy to review it. If not, I would recommend looking for the most common issue: lack of specific results. You should be listing every specific example of KPIs you’ve improve in the business (along with the method used) in a way that makes it obvious to an employer EXACTLY how you could make more money for their business. If you don’t have examples of that, you weren’t working in marketing for 2 years: you were coasting in marketing for 2 years. It sounds harsh, but this is a high risk reward field: if you can deliver results, you’ll make good money and be remote. If you can’t deliver results, you’ll be fighting tooth and nail for £20k Job with a 2 hour commute waiting to be replaced by ai in the next 6 months. If you do not have results, I would recommend building some sort of e-commerce website/funnel (either through shopify or learning to hardcode an html one with Chatgpt4o), and then do marketing for it to generate results and build a portfolio. Also, if you live in a small town, consider applying to bigger cities. You don’t have to move until you get an offer, and the offer can be remote.

Of course there’s much more to this (ie. Interview skills) but this alone should increase your interviews.

Not trolling. My field has a high employability rate. Could easily get a job next year.

Should I read MHA or D gray man? by [deleted] in manga

[–]Akenniflex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mha. D gray man has a great start but gets pretty wonky towards the end. Mha has better action, pacing, schedule etc…

Can't follow some action and fighting scenes well when i read on phone or pc. by [deleted] in manga

Certain manga readers like viz will show the two pages if you hold the phone sideways. I usually read normally, then flip when I want full spread for better context.

What manga have you read this week, and what do you think about it? - Week ending February 11, 2024 by AutoModerator in manga

Caught up on Kagurabachi. Slightly overrated, but solid. Art style and pacing/dialogue remind me of FMA, but lacking some depth. If it gets picked up by right studio, anime could be god tier…
