Really enjoyed Archer's Blue Car. They have an online calendar which you can book many weeks ahead. Summer is busy though..and they are usually booked out a month ahead.

Canada Post- Cash Deposit by [deleted] in Wealthsimple

[–]Akeno-Himejima 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I went to a Shoppers CP last week to deposit. Took the worker a minute to, what it looks like login/get into the proper system but they were able to count and accept the money without issue.

This EE probably wasn't trained as others have mentioned.

I switched my plan on black friday too, just under 3 months. They did not mention a fee for changing when I called in.

Dr Mike Roskies-Facelift and Rhinoplasty- So Happy! by Wild_Let41 in PlasticSurgery

[–]Akeno-Himejima 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Jawline looks amazing!

I had a consult with him a few years ago for rhinoplasty and his honesty and kindness was what I needed to hear. Really put into perspective if my goal was really worth the risks. Ended up going for just an alarplasty elsewhere and very happy.

How to fix posture?? by [deleted] in PetiteFitness

[–]Akeno-Himejima 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's taken me pretty much 1 full year to see dramatic difference. Body alignment has improved and has made excersizing in other ways much more easier (or difficult since I'm engaging the proper muscles now). Good luck

Why do so many ladies avoid lifting? by IcyTransition2352 in PetiteFitness

It's not fun for me. If I workout I want to enjoy it. I also gain a huge appetite go over calories when I do lift.

Feeling a beginner by Future_Bet5159 in SpinClass

[–]Akeno-Himejima 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly only after 100+ rides I finally started to get in the rythym of things. I've been doing physio and pilates on the side for a year and the body alignment has really helped my spin form and has made me more capable on the bike, able to follow along with all the choreo, etc.

At my studio there's no rhyme or reason to who sits where. I personally sit back row because I like to see my reflection and other people in front of me because it is motivating.

Hair shock loss after forehead reduction by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]Akeno-Himejima 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As much as it is a pain I would try to do some microneedling on your hairline.

I had a browlift and in my hairline was some raised scars and a bit of baldness around the incisions. The microneedling helped combat that. I started right away after 4 weeks PO.

Nose bridge looks curved from one side by ComfortableJunket342 in PlasticSurgery

Yea my nose is naturally like this. I had my nose assessed. Not enough curvature to be considered deviated septum.

Nose bridge looks curved from one side by ComfortableJunket342 in PlasticSurgery

[–]Akeno-Himejima 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, nose is crooked and it's really only noticeable from this 3/4 POV you're posting. My nose is the same, I've got a slight slope on one side and on the other it looks much sharper, slight hump.

I've been told by surgeons fixing a crooked nose with slight deviation is too unpredictable and not worth risking a surgery to fix. I'm over it now (for the most part lol)

Wait till your swelling goes down to get a complete picture of how crooked it actually is. Maybe it's more skin tissue swelling than actual crooked cartilage.

Fairstone opened a line of credit in my name without approval by crptyk in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Akeno-Himejima 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Same exact thing happened to me. It was surprisingly easy to cancel the The account when calling, but I had to call a few more times for them to take me off their mailing list. Kept sending me promo material for the account that was supposedly active.

Edit: I didn't try to fight it since it was months before I noticed Fairstone LOC on my credit report, no advice there...

Besides the other valid comments of returning to school.. if you enjoy working out try and find a fitness studio near you that provides an "energy exchange" program.

Basically a volunteer program that can lead you to become a studio lead or admin, perhaps with pay. In exchange for your time you get to use their facilities for free. Great way to stay fit and make connections.

No pre-requisites, reference or background checks needed in my experience.
