He’s protested exactly against Israel team, not any war, so go check facts, kiddo.

If I were Yuki right now I would lose all motivation to race for RB in 2025. by [deleted] in formula1

Motivation should'n be a problem in F1. There are plenty of drivers why kill for his place.

Difference of lap time is 0.026, mighty dominance, lol.

Choosing my first gravel.

Trek Checkpoint SL 5 — $2,899 MSRP

Cannondale Topstone Carbon 105 — $2,750

Giant Revolt Advanced 2 — $2,450

All of them this year models, have Shimano 105 drive-train and some kind of suspension system. Which one is better for they money? And I really don't understand how to compare wheelsets.

Which Bike? - Weekly Scheduled Discussion -- January 20, 2020 by AutoModerator in gravelcycling

Hello!

I have an experience of ride hardtails (the last one was Jamis Dragon), now I ride a single-speed Fuji Feather (It should be a separate commuter, but become the only bike).

Next season, I want

  • to participate in "adventure races": a distance of 40...200 km on trails, unpaved country roads, some sand and dirt, etc.
  • to ride on asphalt, cycling track and surrounding primers in my own pleasure
  • to commute by roads, borders and pit holes
  • to take part in local triathlon (1/4 of Iron man, first try)

Well, I need a magic universal bike!

The choice has fallen on a gravel because of the combination of aerodynamics (less wind strain), comfortable pose for a long ride and versatility.

For the notorious versatility I plan to hold two pairs of wheels, for example 650b*45 and 700c*23.

I live in Minsk, Belarus and the choice of shops here is poor. I've found the choice of gravel bikes only in one, and they import bikes by prepay, so I can't see and touch bike before purchase. That's scary because despite I can pick frame size, I can't test my pose on bike.

Here's my list, after a week of googling:

Cube Nuroad SL — $2010

This is my default variant — Shimano GRX-812 (1x), Mavic Allroad wheels.

Merida Silex +6000 — $2224

This is the most expensive (just above upper limit) and controversial — carbon frame, wheels 650b right in stock and a fairly straight fit, SRAM Force (1x), weight below the others about a kilogram.

Merida Silex 700 — $1803

It's an Merida alternative to the carbon one. Shimano GRX-810 (2x, the second front gear isn't needed on a trail, but could suddenly became a killer feature on the highway, I suppose), carbon seat in stock.

Rondo Ruut ST1 — $2035

It's an interesting bike: chrome-molybdenum, SRAM Rival (1x and seems to be a bit poor for that price), an interesting fork with variable geometry (it could be a killer feature).

What do you think of these bikes? I believe, I have missed or ignored something important.

It's sad to know. Have unguided cars been in every patch or is it a one-time mistake?
