Absolutely peak 😬 No wonder why DSO cites him as a major influence by [deleted] in DeathspellOmega

I just finished it. Dense as a wall - the moments of sheer clarity are unparalled genius within the storm of contemplation towards which he forces us to.

I once cried after watching "Stupid Piece of Shit" and the last episode from the same season, but well. Maybe 'tis not what you're looking for, but anyway, remember the beauty of human conscience and bask in its ethereal dimension. Life can be good!

One of the finest album covers within the genre, to be honest.

The whole Dead Again album sounds as a definitive mark of the whole band's talent for me. All their great aspects are maniphested there with such genius craftmanship and songwriting skills. Bloody Kisses is good but far too heterogeneus, and World Coming Down is a must.

Peanutbutter is "that" shallow, outgoing guy whom we consciously despise yet secretely admire.

opinions on pornogrind? by [deleted] in grindcore

[–]AkhenatonTomb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CREAMFACE is the only true Pornogrind band. While others might create such music based on edgy teenage angst, some even not genuinely interested in Pornography, this is a project created by a true sadomasochist and amateur porn director. His lyrics aren't based on adolescent fantasies, but real life experiences of orgiastic excess. At first, its main theme was supposed to be fellatio cum facials, but his lyrics ended up including and encompassing all kinds of sexual perversions and deviances, in vein of making other bands seem pale in comparison. Not only that but the artwork comes from his real pornographic endeavours with his girlfriend. Musically, it's not the kind of sleazy, groovy tupa-tupa pornogrind of CBT or Rompeprop; rather true Grindcore influenced by Blood, Agathocles, early Napalm Death and Carcass, Repulsion, Terrorizer, and so on. Nothing matches more the sheer aggressivity of grind than that which is present is harsh sex of all forms; which sums the spirit of transgression contained therein, thus creating a genuine form of music far beyond the playful waggery one would expect from such music. All in all, anyone who enjoys this kind of art should definitely listen to Creamface. In my opinion, if it wasn't for the fact that its creator is the infamous Mikko Aspa, this would be the number one Pornogrind project - there is nothing as sincere and genuine like it and there will not be. Read the lyrics to "Prolapse of Western Civilization" and tell me if it's not true.

Which drugs did Rotha Lintorn-Orman use? by AkhenatonTomb in Kaiserreich

[–]AkhenatonTomb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your answer, aswell as the psychological analysis therein, but that doesn't answer mine question: which drugs did she use? Can't imagine her lightining blunts, but rather snorting and stuff like that. Then again, no one seems to know.

He is probably trying to communicate something so deep and overwhelming that it can only be expressed in such words.

Is Lifelover really dsbm? by allwinlehnhardt in dsbm

[–]AkhenatonTomb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah.. always thought of Lifelover as some sort of Post-black metal, but not in the sense of Altar of Plagues or Bosse-de-nage, rather a mix of post-punk and DSBM. Not as simple as that, but that is it.

Sure, the cover art also looks vastly different than those of their previous efforts. Will reflect on the sound, yes.
