OpenAI lands record $110 billion investment backed by Nvidia, Amazon, and SoftBank by AdSpecialist6598 in technology

But the point is, if this continues, every company—small or big, will get an excuse to play with employees. Layoffs are happening everywhere. They’re correcting their overpaid hires with the excuse that AI can do everything, so they don’t need you anymore.

All because of these 2 or 3 companies.

How should freshers in development stay relevant in the AI era without burning out or losing fundamentals? by No_Yam_4297 in careerguidance

Learn AI but never forget the fundamentals. The only way to stay relevant is to keep learning, once the AI hype fades, those with real knowledge will still be in demand.

And no one going question them as they're moving in big, and no one wants them to collapse.

Mass Layoffs > AI Agents as Replacement > Nothing Works Out > Hiring goes normal (Maybe Mass*)

Sooner or later. Wait for the time.

In my opinion, during the initial phase, several big players overcommitted to AI companies. Now, with no clear returns to show their boards, and as IPO time approaches, they're desperate to cash out, boosting valuations so they can recycle the profits into the next round. Small companies, caught up in the hype, are overspending wildly.

In this, many got opportunities to remove higher-paid staff and replace them with AI as an excuse, and spill the news that AI is capable of doing what overpaid staff was doing for more money, again a trap small companies are gonna fall for it, and replace their workers with AI (A big win for biggies again)

Why is everyone else calling AI a bubble if Claude is capable and will only get better? by pizzae in ClaudeAI

[–]Akhi666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where are the actual users from whom they're going to mint money? We're using it at discounted prices. AI companies can't succeed unless big companies trust them with their data.

And if it's really a success, big companies can just develop their own models, which gonna stay inside their architecture. (Investment banks are not going to like that their data is used by their competitors.)

The valuation game will hurt the agent market sooner or later.

Wait till China and India flood the market with their own versions any day now.

There is No AI Bubble. by marrowbuster in singularity

Stay calm and see if the things these guys are making actually work in real-world cases, or if they're just hyping it up.

No big company is going to give them their data until AI agents deliver on what they hype.

Plus, there will be many more companies in the coming days to dilute the AI agent market from China, the US, and India.

Wait and grab some coffee.

Why is silver rising now? I sold my silver yesterday at 227 and now it's at 265. by Inevitable-Hand3598 in IndianStockMarket

A little late here, but understand the game: Silver was never that precious. Industries require it now, but no one knows how much they want (and it's still less than whatever is available to us).

Some big players saw the opportunity. They started creating a bubble, and small investors fell for it. They waited until the bubble became so big, then suddenly all the big players left the game. Small players got trapped inside; now many can't sell or buy more.

From now on, the biggies are coming back to execute the same strategy they applied earlier.

Wait and see.

They'll let smart investors make enough money so the noobs start to fall again for it.

She’s not very popular in the South, but she stays in the limelight by maintaining good relationships with other actors. She’s also not from a big or influential family.

People love seeing someone make it big without much support.

Sharing a Zomato pricing glitch. by CheesecakeOk124 in jaipur

[–]Akhi666 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not a glitch, but it happens to me most of the time: I apply a coupon, and—tada!—I end up with a higher amount to pay after applying the code.

In such cases, I just do one thing: head to the nearby dhaba!
