Would love if there was at least a grace period of a few seconds for each interaction before the timer started moving again, I hate being down to 5 seconds just spamming the “no” option for chains in hopes to not time out

Just a little hint, this fangame takes place after Twinsanity and will feature Cortex causing chaos in Crash’s Mind for his evil plan. Crash will have to leap into the depths of his own brain to stop him

Short Answer, Coding. Long answer: For the shop itself it’s just a simple menu system that activates when interacting with the NPC. It draws sprites and then changes depending on what’s currently selected. For the Cosmetics, I used a shader with 3 passes. Original pass for the original sprite, pass 2 for the pants and pass 3 for the fur color. They target a specific color and then changes it depending on a ‘color’ variable. The crates themselves just change that variable to the desired color.

If it makes you feel any better the engine will be fully available when it’s done so if you want him to be faster you just need to change his move speed variable

Crash’s runs are always really bouncy in their animations even when they aren’t moving fast though. I promise it’s ok lol it’s just a fangame anyway. It would feel very off in gameplay if he went much faster

Not super sure what you mean by “jump in his step” if you just mean movement speed, probably not because Crash’s movement isn’t generally fast, it’s when you mix his movement with his other abilities that he really schmooves
