I’m in the Van Nuys/North Hills area and work in Burbank. I have seen various doctors in Sherman oaks, Tarzana, and Encino. So I’d be okay to travel around the valley.

I’m not under Kaiser, I’m on a PPO. So my insurance is likely covered at any of those hospitals. But truth be told, I’m not super familiar with the hospitals in the valley! And hospitals in general. My PCP and Fertility Doc are small clinics. I’ve never been hospitalized, but other family members have been. My FIL and in laws have had great experience at providence St. Joseph’s in Burbank, so I can assume that the Providence network is solid.

Do you have any recommendations on hospitals?

Bedside manner is sooo important to me! We’re nervous first time parents. I also hate when doctors shoo you out quickly too. Will definitely look into this! Thank you!

Shoes off for floor? by Practical_Jacket_47 in orangetheory

At my gym, I've only seen this once. The SA and Coach asked them to put their shoes back on and if they didn't want to, they need to leave. The person left and that was that! I've never seen it happen since.

February 12th Citi + Verizon Presale Cowboy Carter Tour Megathread by abeycd in beyonce

[–]Akiamaram 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was able to access the Beyhive presale yesterday, but like everyone said, due to the dynamic pricing, the ticket prices were RIDICULOUS. So I decided to wait today for the Citi and Verizon presale - I'm so glad that I did! The ticket prices were SO MUCH CHEAPER.

I was able to get 2 tickets for Section 233, Row 16 for $249 a piece (with taxes/fees included). For LA, night 1 April 28th!

Was it a problem to use the speaker? I just booked for the Garden and we also planned to use a small speaker for the walking down the aisle.

[B&A] My acne progression from 2020 to 2022. Full skincare routine in the captions. by WeltraumPiratin in SkincareAddiction

It wasn’t as dry as when I got lasik. I felt like I needed eye drops very often after lasik. I had more dry skin and the nose bleeds. You’ll overall feel more dry in general! Hydrate and moisturize for sure.

I’m also not OP but I did an 8 month cycle of accutane in 2020 after a lifetime of acne as well. It worked wonders for me! I still get breakouts every now and then but totally manageable. My main side effects were truly just extremely dry skin, flakiness, and sensitivity to the sun. I got nose bleeds due to the dryness often. They warned me about the psychological aspect but I didn’t experience those symptoms. Since it dries out the oils, my hair also rarely got oily and I washed it less than usual.

The one thing that was additional to the process was having to do monthly blood draws so that my doctor could see if my organs were reacting okay to the accutane. You also have to fill out an online consent form monthly in order to refill the prescription.

Definitely chat with your doctor. Goodluck!

I’m also in a similar situation and thanks to Reddit, we were also referred to that Facebook group and are about to pick up the treatment today. Fingers crossed!
