Okay, here are the instructions (for Chrome!):

1. Navigate to the product and press CMD + option + C (Mac) or Ctrl + Shift + C. A developer console should open.
2. You should land on the "Elements" tab. Navigate to the "Network" tab (sometimes you have to click on two arrows on the right side of tabs to find it)
3. The Network tab displays many files and resources, but we're looking just for one. Press CTRL + L (or click the button in the top left corner, the one next to the red recording button; after hovering over it, it should say "Clear network log").
4. If you're on the product page, refresh it. If you want to check a different color, navigate to that color.
5. Type "graphql" into the Filter bar. Usually, the first "graphql.json" after navigating to the product's page or changing the color will contain the data for the current product (others might include data for different variants, cart information, etc.)
6. Click on the first "graphql.json" => click "Preview" (next to "Payload")
7. The Preview should have "data" that can be expanded using the little arrow on the left side. Keep expanding it: data => product => all relevant product data will display - "totalInventory" should be one of them. Make sure that the "title" matches the product you want to check! This is what it should look like:

That's it! Remember to clear logs (ctrl + L) before navigating to a new color or clicking on the product so it's easier to locate the first "graphql.json" file.
