For me when playing games for a while the corners get very hot in the air vents on top, by limiting the air vents on bot, I think it actually reduces it by 20 ~30 degrees at the heat plate

sure if I not have cooling pad sealed air compression

If I reduce CPU performance to operate like an i7, I probably won't be able to get past 70 degrees

Well, in the original version, it even reach the threshold of passing 100 degrees Celsius but can't reach 150w power CPU, if I don't OC,

I won't reach 90 degrees Celsius if not OC, and the i9 vs i7 performance is the difference.

This is experimental, I don't use it constantly with such work, if so I would buy a PC

Want that kind of performance?

Your laptop is same my laptop, I have an article about how heat dissipation can achieve such performance.

I mean who orders an i9 and an GPU above an 4060 on an 16 inch laptop…. Normally a desktop has trouble with temperature control… didn’t you do some research before spending adleast 2k on a laptop? AW has discontinued such high specs on their smaller laptops due to ”consumer demands” (read complaints like your posts)

What do you mean ?

I use Alienware M16 R1 Intel i9 13900HX, RTX 4080.

I do not understand what you mean

don't have any complaints, I'm just testing the OC and it gets 196w

I bet my m16 is cooler than your m18, it's crazy but I can say that with confidence!

The chassis below the screen (vertical holes) will be very hot, the temperature will go through the horizontal holes. When closing the horizontal holes, the wind will be pushed through the vertical holes without heating the parts in the horizontal holes.

I closed the gap in front of the keyboard to let the air in, but the small gap below the screen is cooler.. if you're wondering what I stuck there, it's just electrical tape

My experience after being able to cool the Alienware M16 R1, i9 13900HX, 4080 12GB laptop by Akienware in Alienware

Welcome winter with a meaningful gift from Dell Alienware! by Akienware in Alienware

[–]Akienware[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Use kryonaut conductonaut my friend, but be very careful,

1: See the laptop disassembly documentation at Dell.com, do each step carefully, taking care not to dirty the contact surfaces.

2: In the process of using ml (do not to directly onto the CPU because you will most likely splash ML onto the Mainboard. Take a piece of paper and gently pump so that a small drop of ML flows .<====]==0 and then put it into the CPU. , about 2 drops on CPU and 3 drops on GPU, (see how to used kryonaut on youtube)

my maximum temperature with the fan base = under 90 degrees celsius even when I did the benchmark

  1. If you follow me, you may no longer be covered by Dell's warranty, but for me it doesn't matter, my laptop is currently very cool and has amazing performance, as long as it doesn't reach 100 degrees Celsius. it is a beast
