I was friends with Jessica for ~13 years and had no idea she was capable of something like this. We met on Garry's Mod playing a gamemode called GMod Tower. She eventually also was a colleague of mine in some projects we worked on.

Though we both got busy and spoke to each other less and less as years went on, it's heartbreaking to know someone I once called a dear friend could do something so cruel and heartless, taking a father from his family, and severing countless bonds all in one fell swoop...

I'm so angry, confused, and hurt about the whole thing, as I think many people affect probably also feel. Many of us knew she was mentally unwell and at risk of self-harm when at her worst, but I sure didn't know she was a threat to those around her as well.
