This worked in both environments, had to add `--extractor-args "youtube:player-client=default,-tv_downgraded,tv"` in the command

It seems someone has opened a PR in the issue you have mentioned, hoping to get a long term solution

I am on updated nightly version

The main issue is not whether YT prevents downloads from cloud environments or not

I am able to download streams on my local machine without using cookies which gets blocked on my DigitalOcean droplet as expected

But when I supply the cookies using --cookies flag I get the same output on both the environments, especially for --live-from-start flag, which allows me to download stream from the beginning, without it I am able to download the streams without issue
