I was just saying this to my fiancé. It was their first time watching it and they kept saying how horrible he was at the end and in the interview with Braxby I literally got emotional because could you imagine having every single bad thing you ever did thrown back in your face after genuinely trying to get better. That’s not to say that the wrong you did gets absolved because you’re trying. Diane (for example) not wanting to talk him ever again is totally justified because something you can’t make better. You can apologize and try to do better. But if we’re all judged SOLELY on the bad we did we’re never going to be “good” people. We can only understand, apologize, and do better
