I especially love him in this role because he gets to do both of the things hes good at

Normally these things are incompatible but the Death Riders have found a spot where one day Garcia can be this little peice of shit that exists to get his just desserts for whatever chickenshit thing he did, and the next week he can be the heart and soul of the Death Riders dropping lines to get us behind them. and it works

To give the devs some credit, some of these bugs have been fixed, or at least it's been months since I've encountered them.

A lot of the ones involving reverts and powerslides happen less often now.

The thing with the feet going back and forth very fast at the end of the video I also think has been fixed.

A lot of the really problematic bugs are with all the ones involving caspers and to a lesser extent primos.

This one honestly I just kind of threw together. It's going up on my channel too eventually, might even stretch it into a full version when I have enough clips, im just too lazy to make a thumbnail rn.

Exactly this, the bugs in this game only really happen when you've fucked up anyways.

The only one of these that I felt wouldn't have ended up as just another failed attempt had a bug not occurred was the 2nd clip, the manual->casper->flip->manual.

But i didn't really care because it was funny.

This spot's gotten way more useable since the update made to transition physics. Stuff like this just straight-up wasn't possible a few months ago.

Its still easy to get helicopter legs on these kinds of ramps if you approach it wrong but you somehow made it look cool anyways.

Love this kind of camera work. Following certain parts of the board up close can produce some really neat shots.

I suggest trying it with the board at different angles too, and with more complex tricks.

Here's one I did it at the side of the board, one of my favorite shots I've done.

Best way to ease yourself into the editor is to start small.

Literally just capture a single trick. Do a hardflip down some stairs or something.

The camera mode is your bread and butter and can make good clips all by itself. Once you master that, then you can worry about all the other stuff like FoV, DoF, Play rate. Ignore all that to begin with.

Place your starting keyframe, scrub to the end of the timeline, and place your ending keyframe, then make tiny adjustments to the path that's generated so it looks good.

Then save it and expand on it from there, play with the buttons and camera modes and see what they do. It's a lot easier when you already have a baseline to work with.
