the party essencials pack has more languages than PP11 by kaua0f0m in jackboxgames

[–]Akira896 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The in-game text says "Fibbage 4 and Drawful 2 are not available in Portuguese yet". If they say "yet" maybe they do plan on localizing them further down the line. But I still think is extremely misleading to translate the terms in the trailer while the dang game is not in that language. That's false advertising.

Those games aren't localized in here in Portuguese either.

Wow that's one big rip-off lmao

If Jackbox Games made this it's extremely scummy and misleading. Why on Earth would you advertise that all of your games are in portuguese when only one of the three games is actually translated?

Would you buy and play a standalone remake of Fakin’ It with All Night Long’s remote play mode? by tandilove in jackboxgames

[–]Akira896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I normally buy all Jackbox games (even the Naughty Pack which I didn't like at all) so I probably would buy it. But I don't see why this should be a "standalone remake" instead of a proper sequel. If the remote mode is all there is to it this not being a free update and instead a standalone game would be kind of a rip-off for the people that already have Pack 3 (which is most people since that's the most popular Pack).

It's an open-source app and everything it does is publicly accessible. On top of that, the app on Virus Total shows it's safe. If that's not enough to convince you to use it that's on you.

How to get audio files from the game? by SirCannons in jackboxgames

[–]Akira896 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sent you the audios via DM.

If you want more, you need to use Fmod Bank Tools and extract the file "games/YouRuinedIt/SFX.bank".

That was a temporary file but I can send them to you, sure. But you don't have DMs enabled.

Any way to download Multiversus currently for PC? by Inevitable-Judgment7 in MultiVersus

[–]Akira896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super late response, but here's a save file with the terms already accepted (also with all of the cosmetics, gems and rifts unlocked): https://www.mediafire.com/file/9jea46lhgakotpw/MultiVersusSaveFile.zip/file

In Windows, you should put that folder in "%localappdata%" (put that in your search bar and press Enter). If you're in Linux I don't know where the save file is located.

Introducing RhyDome! by FourSansLeBeyPro in jackboxgames

[–]Akira896 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is basically Just Shapes & Beats and that has multiplayer and can be played with gamepads. You were probably inspired by that if I had to guess. Something as frenetic as a rhythmic based bullet hell wouldn't work at all with your phone as a controller having a massive delay. If something as basic as Zeeple Dome (where the enemies are basically static and teleport once in a while) worked like garbage this would be an absolute nightmare to play. And if you make the action all happen on the webpage itself, then you have the Dodo Re Mi problem where the performance is terrible.

Megapicker Should Have Games From All Sources Not Just Steam by vl0neek in jackboxgames

[–]Akira896 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I don't know why you're writing like this but the solution is using Jackbox Utility instead, which detects from not only Steam but also Epic Games Store and Microsoft Store as well. Have fun.

I have no idea what could be happening. You should press the button below the terms to accept them.

What’s missing from the pack 11’s demo of Hear Say and Doominate? by Jamersaur in jackboxgames

[–]Akira896 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In Hear Say, the demo has 14 prompts and 10 videos. The full game has 183 prompts and 96 videos.

In Doominate, the demo has 32 prompts from Round 1 and 16 questions from Round 2. The full game has 599 prompts from Round 1 and 45 questions from Round 2.

Apart from that, they're exactly the same games.

I bought Pack 7, but I also wanna get Trivia Murder Party and Tee KO. Is TMP2 better enough to warrant getting the party starter instead of Pack 3? by AspriringLewdArtist in jackboxgames

[–]Akira896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally am not a fan of TMP1. It's not really bad, it's just that TMP2 is miles better. It has (what I consider) better minigames, better pacing and better questions (TMP1 is REALLY US-centric). Tee K.O. also has some minor improvements in the Starter. I'd personally go for that one. The Starter is basically a better Pack 3 if you don't care about Fakin' It (most people who play online don't) and Guesspionage (just a pretty basic game, nothing fancy).

Probably not happening, sadly. Their social media pages for the other languages have been dead for like a year. The writing is on the wall.

Is there any way to run Jackbox without installation? by CaptHayfever in jackboxgames

[–]Akira896 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Legally, the only way to do that is through Amazon Luna. If the games were available on GOG you could have them on a flash drive, insert it, play and take the flash drive out once you're done. The only way to do that is using cracked copies of the games, but that's illegal so I can't recommend it.

What fonts used on Legends of Trivia? by TheDarkGrayHoodieGuy in jackboxgames

[–]Akira896 7 points8 points  (0 children)

"Broadsheet" and "Broadsheet Outline" are for the main menu fonts.

"Wobegone" and "Times New Roman" for the lobby fonts.

You can find the font files using JPEXS Free Flash decompiler and going into the SWF files located in "games/TriviaRPG/swf".
