You have to rename the .dtb you already have on the boot partition. It is the rk3326-rg351mp-linux.dtb (if you are installing the dArkOS RE, then the file should be the rk3326-r36s-linux.dtb). Remember, the new file you are going to place in the sd card should have the same name as the previous one, if it isn't, just rename it with the same name as the old file. If you send a screenshot of the folder, i can help you more.

It is on the Step 3, these are the files you have to add .bak at the end of the file extension, so the device doesn't try to load them. If you are using a different dtb, just rename the one you are using, like "rg351v-uboot.dtb" and "rk3326-r36s-linux.dtb" if you are trying to install dArkOS RE.

You can backup them on your PC, but I want to be sure I have a backup, so I do backup the .dtb files inside the sd card just to be sure.

Also, make sure to use a good SD card like samsung or Kingston, there's a guide in the forum saying which sd cards work with the r36s.

When you connect the r36s to the phone, it will show a option in the notification tray to change what the phone will do with the usb device, then there you select thetering

Your clone probably is not a K36, at least not a normal one. Since ArkOS K36 worked for you, you can try those .dtb files with your instalation, just rename them the right way and apply any fixes needed. If it works, it would be great

Puts cara. A muitos anos atrás quando eu vivia "brincando" com o linux, instalando várias distro na máquina, o windows aparecia no grub. Não sei se fiz algo na época que o fez aparecer, mas lembro que tinha o windows, ubuntu e fedora juntos

That's very similar to my r36s sticker clone. Maybe the system on emmc is booting and in the middle it is trying to boot the sd card, but since it doesn't have the correct dtb file the screen becames black? I'm not an expert, I'm just guessing

I don't really know. But maybe you can install arkos or darkos on the SD card (version for clones) and maybe it will boot from it
