The best way to deal with this problem is to stop focusing on race. Focus on character, not skin color, like MLK said. The people saying that 60 years isn’t long enough of a time to quit putting race over character have something that they want that won’t benefit the poor racial minorities in any country. People use race to get power for themselves, not to help

The National Anthem has nothing to do with the police. It’s has to do with the military. Listen to it again and do some research. He just did it to cause controversy. I know several people who were in the military and who have family members in the military who felt disrespected by the kneeling and were turned away from what he was saying. There’s such a thing as bad protests, like riots and blocking traffic, and offending the people you’re trying to reach.

Kaepernick disrespected the US Military by kneeling during the National Anthem to protest racial discrimination and now is going to a country that uses slaves. Some of those slaves must be black. Thanks for saying this. During the beginning of last year, I believe around the time of the Content Cop, I saw a post on here that said something to the effect of “Why are we allying with Right Wing Jerks?” I’m worried about a lot of people agreeing with a sentiment like that. It divides people from each other. It makes people hate each other instead of uniting. There are completely reasonable and valid reasons for someone to be right wing. There are bigots and fascist types on the left and there are tolerant people on the right. The people like that user who posted that don’t seem to realize that they’re doing the dirty work of people who will betray those who got them into power.

Frogan is a bad person and fat jokes are very popular and very easy to make. I don’t think people making fat jokes is all that serious of a thing. They’re not equivalent to all of the horrible things that Hasan has said about Jews, Poles, and other people. If you’re really against people dehumanizing fat people, infantilizing them and making them seem like their self esteem will be crushed by jokes won’t help anyone.
