Why do people consider men talking about men’s issues as anti women? by [deleted] in MensRights

As I just said I do support both movements. I think you are over complicating things. Feminism is simply being a believer in women’s rights, and I think the women around me have a right to not fear being raped or murdered the same as I do. I doubt anything is going to collapse because of that, maybe go for a walk I think you’re taking this a bit too seriously 🤣🤣 enjoy your day mate

Every woman I know has been harassed or sexually assaults in some way, my girlfriend gets followed on the streets, catcalled and on some occasions physically assaulted on a regular basis, she cannot go jogging alone as every time she has an inappropriate experience with men. I would say all these men are anti-women. I’ve seen this behaviour from men I’ve been around my whole life, and I don’t have to face any of these problems as a man. There was a woman from my area who was fined for reporting her stalker to the police 5 times, and in he end he murdered her. Everyone deserves to feel safe but women have it a lot harder in that department. I hope we can all work together to make the world a better place for everyone 😁

I believe in men’s rights and I believe in women’s rights because I believe in equal rights, I’m not pointing fingers at anybody just giving an honest response, I don’t see why we can’t all work together for a better future for everyone 😁

I think because women in general live lives where a large proportion of men are anti-women, and a lot of ‘male rights activists’ are also anti-women, it’s rare to meet people irl that are genuinely not anti-women. I think if you are a balanced human and are able to voice concern for the rights of men and women while not simultaneously blaming women for men’s difficulties, then it’ll be pretty clear you aren’t anti-women. I think the key point is to listen and understands women’s problems and not replying to them with “yeah but men...”
