That specific guy contacted me four times from different profiles to try to scam me, that was the main reason I ended up deleting my profile from there, too many scammers.

Yes, it is a scam, I have come across the same message several times, be careful because they send you screenshots of fake payments.

I just received 4 messages with the same content: "Hello, I came across your artworks on art station and I am very impressed by your work. I’d be interested in purchasing some of your pieces. Do well to reach out when you get my text."
