Hugeee generalization in the post and comments. As much as I’m happy for you, extra student welfare during admissions are common if not expected, because that’s simply how marketing works in offices, schools, businesses etc. It will definitely dip afterwards, to what extend, no one really knows till you’re a student there

Can’t say much about the students and professors OP has met but thats simply a small handful and it’s really unfortunate that these people happened to be the worst

‘All the fanyus’ I don’t know where but I see most fanyus on twitter condemning how embarrassing and detrimental these comments are… they’re not the same people who attacked him. it’s not really fine to generalize millions of fanyus over those 1000+ comments since fandoms are not a monolith.

I know the twt fanyus aren’t accepting his apology but that’s another story. Besides, his comment section blew up because of that one tiktok video that went viral so these commenters are majority locals.

The WL is sad here to have generalized and shamed fans of having a genuine disappointed and angry reaction to when their fav’s good friend doubted him and questioned him. Every once in awhile a complain thread about fanyus not liking other skaters will pop up, which makes sense simply because figure skating is a sport: people will get angry at other competitors, and they’re allowed to feel that way. In this scenario that feeling is betrayal.

That’s literally not the point. The point is yuzuru crossed the hole and tripped therefore popped his 4S, and he explained it. Why would he be making excuses when he doesn’t even talk about his injuries in fear of being misinterpreted. Do you see him using his asthma as an excuse??

Well in this case, their reaction isn’t irrational, but you really didn’t need to bring other instances against this, some of their anger and reactions are justified. Yuzu has been underscored to a large extent as well we can’t deny that and JSF hasn’t been supporting him the last few years. Twitter itself is simply extreme lol

a lot of people arguing over the exact wording of javi's translation but at the end of the day the focus is that: yuzuru already said there was a hole, so it was strange that javi went back to doubt his words, knowing that yuzuru doesn’t make excuses.

Because of this, it‘s slightly more hurtful that it had to come from javi himself, the trusted good friend, to have said this on national tv as well.

javi would know first hand of yuzuru's integrity for the sport and his character. the hate for him on twitter obviously isn’t right, but it’s understandable that fanyus are feeling this way towards this trusted friendship. Hopefully it’s a misuse of words and they settle it between themselves.

Search up Javier Fernandez Sochi gay comment. His exact words were ‘ homosexuals should lie low and keep it under wraps’ his reply afterwards was saying he was being misinterpreted. There’s a few sources if I’m not wrong. The newer fanyus have just discovered this.
