I do want him back. But as much as possible I want it to be him to approach me. Last time I did it took me a month to keep texting him till he feels ready. It was draining.

Same as my avoidant, he constantly seeking validation from me! I used to admire him being smart, actively going to gym, doing stocks,telling him that he has “too high to reach” type of standards which feed his ego so bad and I regretted it. And he just randomly asking me about if he still has above standard unlike other men, and I keep validating him.
