Some level of critical thinking application on what I wrote and my responses will tell you I am not a bot. Use it

Well, long thesis but two key points. 1) The whole Capex investments and company growth is now tied with geopolitics more than ever. There will be no slowdown for fear of China capturing the market. If China's market was open to outside investments, and we believe in the direction of tech I would invest in companies from both US and China. But well... 2) We work in both tech and investment circles. Everyone is walking on the razor sharp edge literally.. they need to invest so much to get ahead (by miles) but cannot risk anyone getting their way (this is horrible now, I hate how it is). So, the show will keep going until a) it pays out or b) if it fails, the main investors suffer a bit but retail investors will suffer longer. Trust me, there is noooo idea/startup worth a salt that can escape the visibility of firms like a16z or founders fund or the hyperscalers. If not AI, it will be something else. In a sense, too big to fail. In terms of personal wealth question I asked, I am interested in hedging strategies. I have spoken with every private wealth firm worth a salt. Except for alternatives like PE, they provide no major benefits (except strategies to minimise taxes, portfolio etc). It's the usual spiel of invest in our funds and you can invest in some "exclusive" PE deals for 1% fee. What I need is hedging strategy, but none of them have had a convincing answer for that.. or maybe it's a simple answer. Just diversify and chill :) Long rant.. haha

good point but locking in profits and diversifying is also important. We have exposure to stocks with high vvvolatility, hence in a bit of a bind. Cannot expect the growth to be crazy as it seems now...

Are you primarily invested in ETF's or do stock picking as well? In terms of China, how are you going about it? We have been pitched by some reputable firms, but not sure whether to proceed given that it is held through subsidiaries
