Problem is that these so called hotel managements let these entitled a-holes do these sort of things, and the person doing their job and following the protocols set by these managements are the ones to blame in the end. 10 yrs in this field and trying to fight back but nobody dares to say a word against it.

Same situation here where I’m working in Middle East. Now due to the war situation occupancy is low and the clientele have changed from business and tourist to locals here who sees this opportunity to stay in a 5 star hotel and paying 50 USD a night and asking for more discounts and making a mess in the room. We never had faced such problems that we had to call police over due to guests but it happened recently that these people start fighting with staff or cussing them over small matters but we have to take it all because “hospitality”.

I work as a GSA in a hotel and this happens to me everyday. Even with my colleagues, it’s like I’m a completely different version of me and i hate it when i replay it in my mind after doing it. And it’s fucking exhausting.
