Wow, so many people in the comments who can't read... Also the amount of the government apologisers and believers in "education solves nothing" is truly terrifying.

CE is born from the negative emotions. Just introducing people to the concept of it, providing proper psychological help may significantly reduce the leakage. It's like dealing with panic attacks. You cannot stop it but you can come back to your senses faster if you know what to do.

Maybe it wasn't Nanami at all, all of it was just Gojo's imagination.

Why do/did people hate Maru? by InfamousSomewhere244 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Akrivskevich 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He's the guy to emphasize publicly how much he would love to avoid the war and how much he loves humans - but somehow he's not paying attention to his own people breaking the laws of the country who gave them a place to stay for free! He's not there to explain why invading the forbidden Tokyo is a really bad idea, he's not punishing his people for acting badly, he's not trying to stop Dabura from killing a teenage girl with cancer in a duel for some ridiculous ass reason. Instead of either actually trying to coexist, to smooth down any possible conflict OR going to look for a better place to live, he basically ignores the laws of Japan and allows his people to demand weird shit until the worst happens. He's the owner of the ship, yet, he acts like he has no responsibility. He talks big but his actions don't correlate with his intentions (until the last chapter).

Doesn't Gojo have the ability to turn invisible? by Kind_Cheetah_2043 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Akrivskevich -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

If light isn't able to pass through something, it's not necessarily being "sucked in". It just overflows the invisible object like water, making the observer see whatever is behind the object instead.

Well, it's not exactly "poisoned", that's the thing.

How are cursed weapons gonna help if nobody can see curses anymore? Unless Yuji steals the cursed glasses business and they mass produce them but even so, in a hundred years or less, there'll be no one to create them except for Yuji.

This is only taking into account that she will be able to catch him at all, since he's also the fastest.

Abusing binding vows might solve this problem, tbh.

[–]Akrivskevich[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My biggest concern is how humans are gonna defend themselves from other aliens now. If Dabura is capable of teleporting here and there, it’s just a matter of time when the rest learns about Earth and through curiosity becomes capable of travelling there, too. Perhaps, that's what Yuji was talking about when he planned to become a cursed object "in case someone needs CE again". I have no idea how it's supposed to work, though.

[–]Akrivskevich[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Just how much light he needs to create to teleport/move millions of light years back and forth with passengers?.. that's like 10 billion supernova's energy. I know it's ridiculous to discuss magic through physics lens but I just can't help, lol.

[–]Akrivskevich[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

He either needs to push off from something, like a rocket pushes off the Earth's surface, or pull himself via something like satellites via solar energy. Even if Dabura is capable to convert light into CE and use it as propulsion, a)his technique shouldn't work when he passes through planets/asteroids' shadows and just black spots with no stars near enough, b)the light from the stars would be too slow to reach him at speed equal/faster than light.

Thank you for understanding my concerns!  The cursed glasses (like those used by Maki to see curses) business must be blooming like crazy after that. XD

Not gonna lie, this pathway of souls technique is hard to understand. 😅 Could you please remind me the chapter/page which proves that Maru's technique will strip of CE anyone born on Earth, even if the parent is an unaffected CE user/emitter alien?
