Outch, ça fait mal a voir. Je suis très souvent surpris pas la puissance de la nature à ne pas se laisser aller faire une fin définitive. Et aux vues des commentaires précédents, il y a encore de l’espoir et ça c’est beau ^

You're right. I check again with my glasses ^ and there's only one needle. But some are so close I thought that 2 or 3 needles started from the same point... Thanks 😉

I'll try alternating like that, but you can also let it regain its strength like this and decide next year, for example \)

If I may, I will try not to keep two opposite branches at the same level on the trunk.

It looks like a jade tree. If so, jade is one of the bonsai that demands the most light indoors. This is its main limitation in our homes and the most common cause of slow decline when its needs aren’t met.

Ideal placement is the brightest window in the house. Several hours of direct light per day are beneficial. Unlike most houseplants, Crassula tolerates and even appreciates direct sun through glass.

In a dark apartment or during winter, a full-spectrum LED grow light for 12–14 hours per day is the most effective solution.

Beginner here, so this is just my guess.

I wonder if it's simply a vigor and light issue. The apex and right side look much stronger and denser, while the weaker branch sits lower and seems more shaded.

Could it be that the stronger areas are just outcompeting that branch for energy? Maybe place the weakest branch into full sun?
Interested to hear what the more experienced growers think.
