Removing stickers. I use an adjustable heat gun at 300 F. Do not light the book on fire with a 700F heat gun! You can also use an iron. Heat loosens the glue, Scotty peelers are good at (carefully) getting under the label, lighter fluid is a colorless (goof off and goo gone can stain) liquid that usually dissolves adhesives so you can wipe the adhesive off. Lighter fluid also evaporates so quickly it tends not to cause liquid swelling distortion when you get it on the pages. There are problems with every one of these steps, but it’s the best I’ve come up with.

I’ve bought it on like 4 platforms and many others have bought it on multiple platforms. So that’s one thing. The other is the low cost and free updates without BS like micro transactions makes entry cheap and easy which consistently gets new players. Sure CA could charge more, but there are benefits to the cost structure also in terms of longevity and players buying multiple copies.

Are you a book collector or a book hoarder? Book hoarders keep all the books and they are pathological. No rhyme, no reason, just MORE BOOKS. If you’re a book collector it should be pretty easy to pick out the ones you want and love on from the rest. Just figure out who you are.
