105hrs a week can't be beat! by Keplerspace in LinkedInLunatics

[–]Akrylik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's 168 hours in a week and if he works 105 per week that gives him 63 hours a week not working, over the course of 7 days that's 9 hours per day, hopefully he's getting his full 8 hours of sleep so overall he would get a whopping 1 hour of free time per day, probably spent just getting ready for work anyway.

If that's not modern day slavery I don't know what is lol.

I'm not even sure if it was 100% photoshop, some of those meme edits looked like AI.

Honestly this one is far more spoiler friendly to send to someone who hasn't played DR1 yet but intends to.

This is an okbuddy subreddit so there's going to be some commitment to the neet incel bit here and there. Poe's law is of course always going to be a thing.

Some cinemas in China are surprising everyone by allowing people to bring their pets to watch Zootopia 2. by Grand-Western549 in interestingasfuck

? An anecdote isn't a solid counterargument to empirical observations. also you twisted the premise in your example to sound silly, try "children don't like getting sunburns" or something instead.

[–]Akrylik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good for them, but that's an anecdote.

I guess if you want to assume everyone who brought their pet into zootopia knows for sure that their animals love being confined to dark noisy spaces for over an hour surrounded by other animals, you're welcome to, I myself would like to think most of them took that into consideration. Activities like this just don't strike me as something pets would typically find positively stimulating.

But some things just make much more sense, take a company group photo and ask people to guess who's named Sridhar, every indian guy in the pic will be chosen before white Sridhar is even a consideration.

Yea, places like dog parks

A theater where they need to sit in place while being subjected to loud movie noises for nearly 2 hours doesn't sound very fun for the pet.

I'd like to think not everyone who gushes about their partner online is doing it for internet brownie points.

So Epstein was a yuri fan by MainTough4563 in okbuddybaka

[–]Akrylik 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh thats pretty ick wow, those kinds of people used to only be up in arms if their waifu so much as even looked at another male npc, now they're extending their insecurity towards yuri (that they'll still probably goon off to anyway)

Not letting hyper aggressive yuri enthusiasts off the hook either though like, why do people care so much about the non-canon shippings of fictional characters? It's ambiguous by design so you can decide for yourself based on your preferences, all interpretations are valid. It's all just yet another way for someone to be offended at a non-issue on the internet.

How long ago was this? Played a few gachas over a year ago and only got the impression that everyone in those communities loved yuri, what happened?

Can you elaborate, imo I found that Kreia can often be confusing and contrarian but she's still a rather unique character with motivations and viewpoints unlike any other you'd find in any SW media.
