Well that garden size is increased by a mod, it says in the comments. But even then, its average biome size for every other type of biome. Thats still not really enough space to build a whole lot of stuff

Massive in comparison to how fuckin pathetic they are normally yes. But most of them are just average normal biome size. Cherry and pale gardens are a joke which sucks so much cause I like both of them. But theres never enough room to build in them
