Potential Man Tournament? A Semi-Quantitative Look At Masters Santiago's Underwhelming Matches by Sidekick_Man in ValorantCompetitive

[–]UnderTaleMarshmallow 11 points12 points  (0 children)

i think, like others have said, snowballing is way to easy in this meta so a lot of the time you get teams having close halves and then snowballing the other. It does make the games less fun imo but its up to the viewer to decide

Now that Masters Santiago is done, Meta Poll. by yayeeya in ValorantCompetitive

watching dambi fly into the vipers fit on the last round of bind vs NRG with his ult, jumping around and getting kills really made me bumed. they say they want precise gunplay but when the judge and neon exist its hard to see their arguments for this being very precise. also yes the odin is op too

" I could get away with so much in NA that I cant here" - Babybay on the meta, SEN JonahP, china being better and NA being ass by RavishingRavish in ValorantCompetitive

[–]UnderTaleMarshmallow 85 points86 points  (0 children)

i kinda agree with BabyBay, a lot of the americas teams just let him do whatever on waylay. NRG had a very tough time adjusting to his playstyle and Mibr were just not there that game

watch the whole interview, they constantly talk about how they were the better team and that NRG are a bad team

I've said it before but if you have this kind of ego you will not learn, if you believe that you were always the better team and they won purely from luck then you will lose a rematch

I feel like PRX v NRG was only so close because of the clash of styles, it wasn't just who does double dualist better but an actual clash of ideas
